Job Description

Our client, a reputable accident repair centre in Weston-super-Mare, is seeking a skilled Bodyshop Technician to join their busy bodyshop team. 

This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated professional with comprehensive experience in vehicle body repairs, including panel beating and mechanical and electrical trim (MET). 

The successful Bodyshop Technician will play a vital position in delivering high-quality repairs and maintaining customer satisfaction. If you have a strong work ethic and pride yourself on attention to detail, we invite you to apply for this Bodyshop Technician position.

Working hours of 40 per week, Monday to Friday, with plenty of overtime optionsDuties:

Remove damaged vehicle panels and parts for repair or replacement
Repair minor dents on vehicle panels and parts to restore factory finish
Fill small holes, rusted areas, and surface imperfections using resin, body solder, or other fillers
Fit new panels where damage cannot be repaired
Refinish repaired panels and surfaces to meet quality standards
Prepare work areas and mask off unaffected parts during repairs
Perform Mechanical and Electrical Trim (MET) tasks, including stripping and fitting of body components
Maintain high standards of repair quality and ensure customer satisfactionRequirements:

Proven experience as a Bodyshop Technician, particularly in panel beating and MET
Residency within a reasonable commuting distance of Weston-super-Mare
Full UK driving licence with minimal points
Relevant IMI or NVQ qualification in Vehicle Accident Repair is highly desirable; practical experience alone may also be considered
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering top-quality workmanship
