Role Overview
Our client in Mirfield is seeking a detail-focused Bonded Wadding Inspector to join their production team on a temporary basis. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with opportunities to develop your skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Adhere to all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
* Inspect product quality throughout production.
* Cover for the Machine Foreman during breaks.
* Ensure products meet customer and quality standards.
* Report quality or mechanical issues promptly to supervisors and assist in problem-solving.
* Log downtime and stoppages accurately using the SFOL system.
* Communicate operational concerns to the Shift Manager and participate in troubleshooting.
* Maintain quality check records and product traceability documentation.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous production or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential — full training provided.
* Proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong multitasking and communication skills.
* Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a busy environment.
* Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
