We are looking for a Bookings Administrator to join our languages team.
The Bookings Administrator will be the first point of contact for clients seeking interpreting services and for the interpreters. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our day-to-day operations, including services to be booked, scheduling appointments, requesting interpreter/translator availability, confirming bookings, making amendments as required, and filling short-notice emergency bookings.
Key Duties:
* Process bookings and inquiries efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Schedule appointments for interpreters
* Answer the telephone and be the first point of contact for clients and interpreters
* Provide and maintain excellent customer service
* Manage interpreter/translator availability
* Confirm bookings and make amendments as required
* Fill short-notice emergency bookings
* Perform filing and general office administration tasks
You Must:
* Be a confident, self-motivated individual with a friendly and personable manner
* Be able to multi-task under pressure, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks
* Be a strong verbal and written communicator
* Be confident speaking over the phone with clients and interpreters
* Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Be highly organised, accurate, and pay great attention to detail
* Be able to work as part of a team, but also independently when required
* Have a flexible and supportive attitude towards your job role and team members

This is a full-time position with full training provided.
