Job Description
Bookkeeper
Cheltenham
Up to £32,000 (Depending on experience)
The i2i snapchat:
* My client, a Chartered Accountants, are seeking a bookkeeper to join their friendly and professional team
* This role can be full or part time, with a minimum of 28 hours per week
* Parking onsite
* 23 days holiday + bank holidays
* Established and successful Accountancy Practise
Must have’s to be a Bookkeeper
* Experience with Xero
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload
* Previous experience within Industry and Practise within Accounts / Bookkeeping role
Nice to have – Bookkeeper
* Payroll experience would be preferred
* Experience with Sage, Quickbooks and Freeagent would be useful but not essential
Role and Responsibilities
* Bookkeeping on behalf of clients from sales/purchase invoices and bank statements provided
* Preparation of bank reconciliations
* Reconciliation of credit card statements
* Reconciliation of supplier statements
* Preparation of balance sheet control account reconciliations
* Liaising with clients regarding queries on records provided
* Liaising with other members of the team to ensure timely preparation of management accounts
