Job Description
Our client, a well‑established and friendly accountancy practice in Braintree, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and organised individual who enjoys working with a varied client base across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
Review multiple client Xero accounts each quarter to ensure accurate bookkeeping for VAT submission
Carry out day‑to‑day bookkeeping using Xero, Dext, and Briefcase
Prepare and submit VAT returns for bookkeeping clients
Provide ongoing support to clients via phone and email
Deliver Xero training and guidance where requiredIdeal Candidate
Experienced bookkeeper with strong accuracy and attention to detail
Highly proficient in Xero
Friendly, confident communicator with a professional approach
Able to manage multiple workloads and deadlines
Comfortable working independently as well as within a teamWhat’s on Offer
