We’re currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper position with a growing business in the technical services space.
This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on finance role and takes real pride in keeping things accurate, organised and running as they should. The business is well-established, busy, and looking for somebody dependable who can come in and become a valued part of the team.
It’s a broad bookkeeping role with responsibility across the day-to-day finance function, so they’re looking for someone with solid experience who is confident working across the detail and happy being relied upon.
The role will include:
* Day-to-day bookkeeping duties
* Managing purchase and sales ledger
* Bank reconciliations
* Credit control and cash allocation
* Posting journals
* Assisting with month-end tasks
* VAT returns
* Supporting payroll and general finance administration where needed
* Maintaining accurate records and helping keep the finance function running smoothly
They’re looking for somebody who:
* Has previous experience in a similar bookkeeping role
* Is ideally AAT qualified, although those still studying will also be considered
* Has strong all-round bookkeeping experience
* Can demonstrate good tenure in previous positions
* Is reliable, organised and has a steady, practical approach
* Is happy working in an office-based role
* Enjoys being part of a close-knit team and getting stuck in where needed
