Job Description
Position: Bookkeeper
Salary: £40,000
Shifts: Monday – Friday – Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Fridays 8:30am to 3:30pm

My client is a well-established provider of truck-mounted platforms, supplying specialist access equipment across a range of industries. With a strong reputation for quality and reliability, the company continues to grow and invest in its people.
About your new Bookkeeper role:
Maintaining accurate financial records including ledgers and journals
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Bank reconciliations
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Processing payroll and expenses
Assisting with monthly accounts and reporting
Liaising with management and external accountantsWhat you’ll need to succeed for this Bookkeeper role:
Previous experience in a bookkeeping role
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Experience using accounting software such as Sage, Xero or QuickBooks
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
