The Opportunity
Whether you’re returning to work after a break, balancing family commitments, or simply seeking more flexibility, this role is ideal for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or finalist looking to make a meaningful impact in a part-time position.
Working closely with our CFO and Finance Assistant, you'll oversee core finance operations, ensure compliance, and support broader financial planning and analysis. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly shape business performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping
* Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
* Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
* Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and HMRC obligations
* Liaise with external accountants during year-end processes
* Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls
What We're Looking For
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or finalist
* Strong understanding of UK GAAP and financial reporting
* Proficient in Xero accounting software
* Self-motivated with strong organisational skillsBefore You Apply
