Job Description

BOOKKEEPER REQUIRED - ESTABLISHED ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE - - £25,000 to £28,000 - 2 DAYS IN POOLE / 3 DAYS IN RINGWOOD We are working with an Accountancy practice based in Ringwood, who are looking to add an experienced Bookkeeper who can work closely with a key client and deliver a highly professional accountancy service. The company have a key client based in Poole and provide on-site bookkeeping facilities for them 2-days per week and they require someone who can work at the clients premises and then work in the company office in Ringwood for 3-days a week. The role includes: * Maintaining ledgers * VAT returns * Reviewing financial statements * Preparing monthly and quarterly returns * Completing monthly reports for clients * Account preparation and filing The ideal candidate should possess strong client relationship skills and have prior experience as an experienced bookkeeper. You will be working in a small, well-established team under the guidance of the Directors of the business. Essential qualifications and skills include: * Experience with cloud accountancy support, including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage * CIS experience (essential) * Excellent attention to detail * Comfort with IT and data inputting Requirements: * Previous Bookkeeping experience * AAT Level 2 or 3 or qualified by experience * Experience in an accountancy practice (preferred) * Able to drive to clients premises (mileage allowance paid) Benefits: * Salary guide of £25,000 to £28,000 for a 35 hour week * Support with learning and development * Flexibility with working hours If you are interested in this position please submit a current CV.
