Job Description
Our client based in the Tamworth area are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper/Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Complete VAT returns
* Managing a portfolio of clients
* Day to day bookkeeping
* Dealing with any enquiries from clients via phone and email
* Prepare financial statements
* Work closely with clients and ensure they are supported throughout
* Occasional client visits
* Management accounts
The successful candidate will:
* Be confident and reliable
* Be able to meet deadlines and manage their own workload
* Must have excellent IT skills including Excel
* Having experience in completing tax returns and statutory accounts is beneficial but not essential
* AAT level 4 and practice experience would also be advantageous
Can consider both part time and full-time hours.
Salary is £28,000 - £32,000 , dependent on experience.
This company is located in a rural part of Tamworth, so being able to drive is essential.
