Pure are recruiting a part time Bookkeeper on behalf of an organisation based in Newmarket, this will be an ongoing temporary contract to cover an absence in the team. The role is 15-22 hours per week and the hours can be spread across the week, or worked within 2-3 full days.
The main duties are as follows -
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Assist with payroll and expense tracking
- Produce accounts to trial balance
- Liaise with accountants and team members as required
Working within a small team and being the main point of contact in finance, you must have proven experience in the above duties and be comfortable managing your own workload. Intermediate excel skills are essential in this role.
