Brake Press Setter/Operator – Dayshift
Location: Livingston
Hours: 39.5 hrs/week | Mon–Thu: 7am–4pm | Fri: 7am–12:30pm
Salary: £12.71 – £14.50 per hour (DOE)
Are you an experienced Brake Press Setter/Operator looking to join a dynamic production team in a thriving manufacturing environment?
We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to operate and maintain our brake press machinery, ensuring precision and quality in every metalwork project.
What You’ll Do:
Set up and operate brake press machines per engineering specs
Select and install appropriate tooling and dies
Inspect parts to meet high quality standards
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks
Troubleshoot issues and optimize machine settings
What You Bring:
Proven brake press experience in a metal fabrication setting
Strong understanding of tooling and metalwork techniques
Ability to read technical drawings and precise measurements
A problem-solving mindset and team-oriented attitude
