Branch Manager – Tunbridge Wells Salary up to £48,000 + Excellent Benefits Package including Company Car or Allowance An outstanding opportunity has arisen to lead a successful branch for a, specialist supplier of building and drainage products. This dynamic and forward-thinking business has built an enviable reputation for quality, service and innovation, and is now seeking an ambitious, customer-focused leader to drive continued growth and operational excellence. About the Role As Branch Manager, you will take full ownership of the Tunbridge Wells operation, leading a dedicated team to deliver exceptional results in sales, service and profitability. This is a hands-on leadership position where your energy, commercial acumen and people-management skills will directly shape the branch’s success. Key Responsibilities • Proactively develop new business while strengthening relationships with existing customers • Lead, coach and develop a small, high-performing team • Drive branch performance to consistently achieve and exceed sales and margin targets • Oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and operational efficiency • Manage staffing levels, absences, recruitment support and training & development programmes • Maintain accurate training records and champion continuous improvement • Act as an ambassador for the company, leading by example at all times The Ideal Candidate • Proven branch/retail management experience, ideally gained within builders’ merchants, trade counters, glazing, uPVC or similar customer-facing environments • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences • Strong commercial awareness with a track record of driving sales and maximising profitability • Excellent leadership and motivational skills with the ability to develop and retain talent • Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on role • Full UK driving licence essential Why Join?
