Branch Manager
Commercial vehicle hire
Full time, Permanent role
8am – 4pm Monday to Friday
€55,000 - €65,000 per annum + 10% bonus + Car allowance
Ballyfermot, Dublin

The Role
The Branch Manager will be responsible for the leadership and performance of a busy commercial vehicle hire branch. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of both the operational and commercial aspects of the branch, driving revenue growth, ensuring high levels of customer service, and maintaining compliance with group and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the branch team to deliver financial, operational, and service targets
* Oversee day-to-day operations including fleet utilisation, vehicle maintenance, and availability
* Manage branch budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance to ensure profitability
* Implement business development activities to increase revenue and market share
* Build and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, legal, and vehicle regulatory requirements
* Recruit, train, and develop staff to promote a high-performing and safety-focused culture
* Report on performance, market trends, and opportunities for improvement
* Work closely with regional and group teams to deliver consistent standards and support wider business objectives
Candidate Requirements
* Proven management experience within vehicle hire, rental, leasing, or a related automotive/transport sector
* Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating teams
* Commercially aware with demonstrable experience in P&L responsibility and business growth
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle compliance, and industry regulations
* Strong decision-making and problem-solving ability
* Full UK driving licence
