Breakfast Chef de Partie – Luxury Hotel

Location: Ascot, Berkshire
Salary: £33,824 per year
Additional Earnings: Approximately £4,500–£5,000 per year in service charge

We are recruiting an experienced Breakfast Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a prestigious luxury hotel near Ascot.

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys high-quality breakfast service and wants to develop their career within a professional luxury hospitality environment.

The Role

As Breakfast Chef de Partie, you will take responsibility for your section during breakfast service, helping ensure consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and guest satisfaction. You will also support the training and development of Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs.

Key responsibilities include:

  * Running your section effectively during breakfast service

  * Preparing food consistently to required recipes, specifications, portion sizes and quality standards

  * Maintaining excellent food hygiene, labelling and kitchen cleanliness

  * Managing stock control, rotation and ordering for your section

  * Planning preparation and workload around anticipated service requirements

  * Training, supervising and developing junior members of the kitchen team

  * Supporting senior chefs with maintaining operating costs and reducing waste

  * Contributing ideas for new dishes and recipes

  * Maintaining a clean, organised and professional kitchen environment

  * Following all relevant food safety, health & safety and hotel procedures

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you will have:

Previous experience in a similar high-quality hotel, restaurant or hospitality environment

NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent culinary qualifications

Good general kitchen and food knowledge

Strong food hygiene and safety awareness

Good organisational skills

Good spoken and written English

A flexible, team-focused approach

The confidence to supervise and help develop junior chefs

Salary & Benefits

£33,824 per year, plus approximately £4,500–£5,000 per year in additional service charge, giving potential overall annual earnings of approximately £38,300–£38,800.
