We are seeking an experienced Bricklaying / Stone Laying Gang for immediate start on our client development site in Towcester, NN12 area.
This role offers several months of ongoing work with flexibility on the start date.
Requirements:
* Experience in bricklaying and/or stone laying
* High-quality workmanship and finishing
* Full gang preferred
* CSCS cards essential
* Own tools and transport
* Reliability and good communication
Details:
* Project: Private residential build (5 houses total)
* Start: Immediate (flexible)
* Duration: Several months of work
* Hours: Full-time
* Rate: Negotiable, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out brick and stone laying to design specifications and drawings
* Construct walls, façades, and structural masonry elements
* Prepare foundations and set out layouts accurately
* Cut and shape bricks/stone as required
* Mix and apply mortar to required standards
* Maintain high site standards and quality control
* Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures
* Communicate progress and issues to site lead
* Coordinate with other trades when necessary
