Job Title: Bricklayer – Band 6
Service Area: Facilities Management and Building Services
We are currently seeking a skilled Bricklayer to support South Tyneside Council’s Facilities Management and Building Services team. This is a full-time temporary position based at Middlefields Industrial Estate.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out bricklaying tasks to a high standard across various Council buildings and sites.
*
Ensure all work complies with current building regulations and health & safety requirements.
*
Work as part of a wider trades team to deliver effective maintenance and repair services.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a qualified Bricklayer.
*
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and health & safety practices.
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*
Flexibility to work across different sites if required.
