Bricklayer - York - £25 per hour
Job Overview
Involve Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Bricklayers for a long-term construction project in York. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team on a one-year contract, working on high-quality builds with excellent site conditions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lay bricks, blocks, and stone to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures
* Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure accurate work
* Mix mortar and prepare surfaces for laying
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment
* Collaborate with site managers and other trades to meet project deadlines
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements
* Proven experience as a bricklayer in residential or commercial construction
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Bricklaying (preferred)
* Own tools and PPE
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
