Bricklayer needed in Woolwich E16 (6 Positions Available)
* Pay: £215 – £220 per day
* Hours: 08:00 – 17:00
* Start: Immediate
* Location: Woolwich, London (E16)
* Parking: First-Come, First-Served
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting six experienced Bricklayers to join a well-established construction team on a new build housing development in Woolwich. This is a long-term opportunity for reliable and skilled operatives who take pride in delivering high-quality brickwork.
Duties:
* Carrying out facework to a high standard as part of the external finish of new build houses
* Laying bricks in line with technical drawings and site plans
* Measuring and cutting materials accurately
* Mixing mortar and preparing work areas
* Ensuring alignment, level, and structure are correct throughout the build
* Keeping the work area clean and safe at all times
* Liaising with site supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
* Valid Blue CSCS Card (Bricklaying specific) preferred
* Green CSCS Card holders may be considered if they have the right level of bricklaying experience and can provide strong references
* Proven experience in bricklaying, including facework on new build projects
* Two recent and contactable work references
* Own tools and PPE
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
