Company: Tier 2 Main Contractor
A growing Tier 2 Main Contractor is seeking an experienced Brickwork Façade Manager to take the lead on a new £80M residential scheme located on Old Kent Road, London. This is the first of four secured projects with a key new client, offering excellent long-term prospects and a strong future pipeline of work.
The Role:
As the Brickwork Façade Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of a £5M façade package, with a strong focus on the £3.5M brickwork component. You’ll be responsible for detailing, quality assurance, and problem-solving on-site — working closely with subcontractors, design teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full façade package, with a strong focus on brickwork detailing and installation.

Collaborate with brickwork subcontractors to resolve on-site issues and develop practical build solutions.
*
Lead on quality assurance, inspections, and detailed reporting – ensuring compliance with all specifications and standards.
*
Work closely with the design, construction, and commercial teams to maintain programme and cost control.
*
Ensure all works are completed to a high standard of safety, quality, and finish.
*
Prepare for and attend client meetings, progress reviews, and design workshops as needed.
Requirements:
*
Solid background in managing brickwork and façade packages, ideally on large-scale residential schemes.
*
Strong technical knowledge of brickwork detailing, sequencing, and quality assurance.
*
Ability to work collaboratively with subcontractors to resolve issues and drive progress.
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with experience producing detailed QA and progress reports.
*
London-based or within commuting distance to Old Kent Road.
*
Available to join the project ahead of its July 2025 start to support pre-construction planning.
