A growing civil, structural, and environmental engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Bridge Engineering Technician with a minimum of seven years' relevant experience to join its team in Leeds.
About the Role
You'll play a key role in the design and delivery of bridge and civil infrastructure projects, working with multidisciplinary teams across the UK and Ireland to produce high-quality technical drawings and models.
Key Responsibilities
Produce drawings, models, and details for bridges and civil structures.
Prepare conceptual and detailed design drawings.
Review steel fabrication and shop drawings.
Deliver accurate, high-quality work to agreed timescales.
Support and mentor junior colleagues.
Essential Requirements
HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
At least seven years' experience in bridge or civil structure drafting/modelling.
Skilled in AutoCAD, CADS-RC, and steel detailing.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
Motivated, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable
Experience with 3D modelling software such as AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, or Navisworks.
