Job Description
As a Bridge Maintenance Operative, you’ll support our trade teams in daily tasks such as installing access systems, performing bridge repairs, and carrying out essential maintenance. You’ll also handle driving duties, such as collecting and delivering materials from suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
As a Highway Maintenance Operative with HGV License, your primary responsibilities will include:

Performing routine bridge maintenance and cyclic tasks.
*
Assisting skilled trade teams as required.
*
Handling driving and material delivery duties.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
*
Relevant qualification/experience, such as SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
*
Ability to work to strict deadlines and as part of a cohesive team.
*
Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces.
*
A full, approved UK driving licence.
*
Proficiency with power tools (e.g., grinders, drills).
*
Experience operating telehandlers, HIABs, or with abrasive wheels.
