Job Description
Oversee the planning and delivery of a consistent, proactive and data led service which ensures that Landlord Compliance and H&S teams are operating at optimum levels at all times and is prepared and resilient in the face of changing operating environments.
In conjunction with the Director and Head of Strategic Asset Management, define, develop, communicate and deliver strategies and associated policies and procedures for the organisation which meet the needs of current and future customers and legislation whilst also delivering value for money for the organisation and the needs of partners, stakeholders and the Regulators.
Ensure a strong contract management approach, via supply chains and internal delivery partners, to enable the highest quality of service to the customer and with full alignment to organisational values as well as optimal efficiency.
Engage with other parts of the Directorate and the wider organisation to utilise data and practices to achieve joined up approaches and efficiency in service delivery and development that delivers efficiency, value for money and compliance in addition to continually improving customer and staff satisfaction levels.
In partnership with the Head of Strategic Asset Management, develop and manage the Council's strategic approach to asset safety management through detailed maintenance and analysis of asset data and ongoing consultation activities with staff and residents.
Lead on the implementation of the Asset Safety Strategy, being accountable and responsible for establishing, implementing, reviewing and revising plans which translate strategy and priorities into delivery.
