Full time| September Start| 5 Days Per Week | Primary SEN | 1:1 Support Role Are you deaf or fluent in British Sign Language (BSL)? Are you passionate about supporting children with hearing impairments or complex needs? Are you available to start immediately in a flexible, part-time role?Sanza Teaching is seeking a skilled and compassionate BSL Teaching Assistant to work at an outstanding primary school in Wandsworth, Southwest London. This is a Full-time role, where you will be working 1:1 with a child who has complex needs and is profoundly deaf. Your BSL expertise will be essential, as this is the student's primary means of communication. Key Details: September Start 5 days per week (Full-time) Location: Wandsworth Working hours: 8:30am - 3:30/4:00pm BSL Level 2 or above required Experience with ASD and complex needs preferred Pay: £90 - £110 per dayYour Role Will Involve: Providing 1:1 support to a student with complex needs who is hearing impaired. Using British Sign Language (BSL) to communicate and support learning. Helping the student engage with classroom activities and interact with peers. Supporting their emotional, social, and academic development. Liaising with teachers, SENCOs, and specialists to ensure consistency in care and progress.
