Job Description
Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Team Manager to join the Referral and Assessment Team for Bromley Council.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Leading and managing a team of Social Workers to deliver high-quality assessments and interventions for children and families.
* Overseeing the allocation and management of incoming referrals, ensuring timely decision-making and effective safeguarding responses.
* Providing professional supervision, support, and performance management to ensure the delivery of consistent, high-standard practice.
* Ensuring assessments, care plans, and reports are completed in accordance with statutory guidance and organisational policies.
* Chairing strategy meetings, case discussions, and multi-agency forums as required.
* Monitoring workflow, quality of practice, and data performance to achieve service targets and improve outcomes.
* Promoting partnership working across agencies to support effective early intervention and safeguarding.
* Contributing to the development of best practice and continuous improvement within the service.
Working Pattern:
* Hybrid working available
Pay Rate:
* £45.20 p/h Umbrella
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Social Work England Registration
* Substantial post-qualified experience in Children's Services, including management or senior practitioner level
* Previous experience within Referral and Assessment, Duty, or MASH settings
* In-depth knowledge of child protection procedures and relevant legislation
