Job Description

Job Title: Building Services Engineer (Electrical Bias) - Farringdon Location: Farringdon, London (5-minute walk from the station) Pay: £24-£25 per hour Contract: Full-time, 8 hours per day - Contract role with potential to extend until October (Immediate start) We are looking for an experienced Building Services Engineer (Electrical bias) to join our client's team on a static commercial site in Farringdon. The building has one tenant, with the rest currently unoccupied. Key Requirements: 18th Edition qualification essential Strong electrical skills with solid mechanical experience Proven track record in PPMs, fault finding, and reactive repairs across building systems Ability to carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant Experience with water tower inspections, boilers, chillers, alarms testing, and security access systemsResponsibilities: Ensure smooth operation of building systems Undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks Conduct safety and compliance checks as requiredWhat We Offer: Competitive hourly rate: £24-£25 per hour Convenient location, 5 minutes from Farringdon station Opportunity to work on a long-term contract, with extension potential until OctoberStart Date: ASAP If you have solid experience as a Building Services Engineer with an electrical bias, excellent fault-finding skills, and are available immediately, we would love to hear from you.
