BSL Interpreter (Level 3 or Above)
Shrewsbury | £30 per hour | Sept 2025 – July 2027 | 30 hours per week
Tara Professional Recruitment are seeking a skilled and dedicated BSL Interpreter to provide specialist support for a student with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference, supporting a young person throughout their college journey.
About the Role:
Providing full BSL support to a student with profound bilateral sensory neural hearing loss and mild optic atrophy
Supporting the student in all lessons and tutorials, ensuring full access to learning
Working closely with the sensory inclusion team and teaching staff to deliver consistent support
Helping to create an inclusive learning environment where the student can thrive academically and personally
Details:
Contract: 1 September 2025 – 31 July 2027
Hours: 30 hours per week
Location: Shrewsbury
Pay: £30 per hour
Requirements:
Qualified BSL Interpreter – Level 3 or above
Experience supporting students with sensory impairments is desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to inclusion and ensuring equal access to education
