We are recruiting on behalf of a global facilities management and property services company with a strong reputation for excellence and a wide-ranging portfolio of commercial and public sector clients.
The Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Building Maintenance Engineer to join the team at a large healthcare facility in Leicester.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
* Responding to reactive maintenance tasks
* Basic carpentry, painting, decorating, and other general building fabric duties
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
This is a static, client-facing role, working in a critical healthcare environment where quality and responsiveness are key.
The Person
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Experience in a similar client-facing building maintenance role
* A well-rounded skillset covering carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance
* A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Experience working in healthcare environments is desirable but not essential
