Location: Fully Remote

Rate: £80/hr +
Days: 3–5 days per week (flexible)

About the Role
We are working with a dynamic consultancy specialising in high-end and high-rise projects across the UK, with a strong portfolio including Heathrow Airport, some of the tallest towers in the country, and a diverse range of residential, commercial, and retail developments.
They are seeking an experienced Building Regulations Consultant to join on a long-term outside IR35 contract basis. This role offers the perfect balance of stability and support alongside the flexibility and financial benefits of contracting.
Unlike many similar roles, the majority of client-facing responsibilities – such as attending design team meetings – are handled by a separate team, allowing you to focus your time on the technical Building Regulations input.

* Fully remote working arrangement (South East Site Inspection Opportunity for those in the area)
* Freedom to retain RBI accreditation – as this is a non-RBI role, you are free to undertake additional part-time work with Building Control Approvers or Councils alongside this position
* Flexible commitment – 3–5 days per week, with full choice over working hours (no set working hours)

About You
* Ideally a Level 3H Registered Building Inspector (RBI) or capable of working on Level 3 projects
* Strong technical expertise in Building Regulations
* Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Please note: There is also an upcoming opportunity for a more junior Building Control Surveyor to join this team, offering full support to progress into Level 3 projects. If you are not currently operating at Level 3 but are looking to develop, we still encourage you to get in touch.
