We are seeking a dedicated Building Safety Manager who is committed to safeguarding the well-being of our residents.
About the Role:
As a vital member of our Building Safety Team, you will coordinate resources and operational responses across the Borough to ensure that high-risk buildings (HRBs) are managed effectively. Your primary focus will be operational management of data to ensure that safety cases accurately reflect the HRBs we oversee.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the operational management of safety data for HRBs.
Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022.
Work collaboratively with various teams to maintain effective communication and coordination.
Uphold a clear line of data management to sustain the 'Golden Thread' on a building-by-building basis.
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the safety of our residents in their homes.
Escalate appropriate decisions to maintain safety standards.What We're Looking For:
Strong background in building regulations, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring.
A thorough understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022.
Proven experience in risk management and mitigation strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with different teams effectively.
