The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Building Services Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering essential engineering support for nuclear facilities. This is a hybrid role based in Glasgow, combining remote work with site visits, offering the chance to work on projects that truly matter.

HVAC Engineer, Mechanical Building Services Engineer, Design Engineer, Building Services Designer, MEP Engineer, Technical Author, Safety Case Engineer, Project Engineer, Facilities Engineer, Compliance Engineer.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Develop, review, and maintain design substantiation documents for building services systems.
Manage and assess design changes, concessions, and technical justifications.
Prepare and present engineering substantiations to safety committees and stakeholders.
Produce and update maintenance schedules and operating procedures to meet safety and design requirements.
Provide technical advice and peer reviews for reports and calculations within a high-hazard environment.You will have the following qualifications and experience
Proven experience in HVAC design and associated building services systems.
Strong understanding of psychrometric processes and their impact on environmental control.
Knowledge of UK legislation, standards, and industry guidance such as CIBSE and ASHRAE.
Ability to produce clear, robust technical reports and justifications for design modifications.
Minimum HNC in a relevant discipline, with Incorporated Engineer status or equivalent experience.Get in touch now
