A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of my clients who is a multidisciplinary property consultancy providing a comprehensive range of services across Building Surveying, Project Management, Cost Consultancy, and Architecture. They deliver tailored solutions across commercial, residential, and public sector portfolios, placing collaboration, quality, and innovation at the heart of everything they do.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an Intermediate Building Surveyor based in London. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of diverse projects across London and the surrounding areas. This position offers exposure to all aspects of Building Surveying, including inspections, design, contract administration, and client liaison, making it ideal for professionals looking to step up into greater responsibility while receiving ongoing mentoring and development from senior colleagues.

Responsibility & Duties
* Conduct building surveys, condition reports, and defect analysis.
* Assist with project specifications, schedules, and tenders.
* Support contract administration and project delivery.
* Contribute to design, feasibility, and refurbishment work.
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants.
* Ensure compliance with building regs and health & safety.
* Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and advice.
Experience & Qualification
* BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or a related discipline
* 1–4 years’ experience in a Building Surveying role within a consultancy or client-side
* Strong knowledge of building pathology, maintenance, and refurbishment
* Experience of surveying, educational, healthcare, and Residential schemes ideal
* Familiarity with contract administration and project management processes
* Excellent communication, organisation, and client-facing skills
* Progressing towards MRICS qualification (supported and encouraged)
