Elevate Projects is working on behalf of a Public Sector client.
An experienced and suitably qualified Building Surveyor is required to join our Property Services team for a 6-month contract.
In this role, you will work daily with our partner organisation to ensure the compliance and safety of our buildings. You will also collaborate with our PMO team to deliver varied capital projects across a diverse council portfolio, which includes Grade 1 and Grade 2 listed buildings, Scheduled Ancient Monuments, and commercial/industrial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure a compliant portfolio estate by working with teams across the council.
* Act as Contract Administrator and Principal Designer for varied project work.
* Manage multiple work streams independently and to tight deadlines.
* Act as Nominated Person for Asbestos and Fire Management (Desirable).
Requirements:
* Qualified RICS Chartered Surveyor (MRICS/FRICS).
* Demonstrable experience working within a property environment.
* Strong knowledge of current legislation, regulatory issues, conservation, and planning policy.
