JOB SUMMARY:
This position is primarily for a building surveying graduate or recently qualified Chartered Building Surveyor; telecoms experience not essential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
1. Project monitoring;
Decommissioning works;
Installation works; and
Upgrade works.
2. Dilapidations on telecoms claims;
3. Lift and shift of telecoms equipment;
4. Defect analysis of buildings and construction;
5. Outages of equipment to enable other activities;
6. Development and project management.
Additional duties and responsibilities (non-exclusive to Telecoms):
1. Contract Administration;
2. Design and specification of general construction works i.e. building refurbishment, external repairs schemes,
new installations (ladders, services, facilities);
3. Building Surveys including Schedules of Condition, Pre-acquisition and PPM reports);
4. Drawings i.e. existing and proposed schemes of works;
5. Dilapidations on commercial property;
6. Feasibility reporting for redevelopment and refurbishment; and
7. Planning and development i.e. from small retail, plant and machinery to larger developments.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job currently has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree from College or University; and related experience if already Chartered but not necessarily in telecoms.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be fluent in English
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS SharePoint; MS Excel software (aboveaverage); MS Word (above average); MS PowerPoint (average). Knowledge of CAD is deemed advantageous. Training
will be provided for all other proprietary software.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The role will allow for hybrid working arrangements depending on individual circumstances. Training will be provided on telecoms specific aspects of the role
