Job Description

We are working with a respected independent surveying practice who are expanding their team and looking for a motivated surveyor to join them in Eastbourne.
The Role
As a Building Surveyor, you'll work on a diverse mix of projects across residential, commercial and valuation work. No two days will be the same - from defect analysis and residential surveys to contract administration and client liaison. You'll benefit from guidance and support within a small, professional team, while also having the autonomy to manage your own workload.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out residential surveys and defect analysis
Assist with building contract administration, from inception through to completion
Prepare clear, high-quality reports and documentation
Take ownership of client instructions, ensuring excellent service delivery
Build strong relationships with clients across a diverse portfolio
About You
Degree qualified (or equivalent professional experience)
Ideally 3-5 years' surveying experience
Strong report writing skills with attention to detail
Clear and confident communication style
IT proficient, organised and methodical in your approach
Self-motivated, adaptable, and keen to develop your skills further
Professional integrity, honesty and a collaborative attitude
