We are currently seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join our team on a 4-month contract to carry out PFI lifecycle condition surveys on a healthcare facility in Southeast London.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed condition surveys in line with PFI lifecycle requirements
Assess building fabric, mechanical and electrical elements, and identify required maintenance and replacement schedules
Produce high-quality, clear, and accurate reports with lifecycle costings and recommendations
Liaise with client representatives and site teams to gather information and ensure minimal disruption to site operations
Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety and PFI contract requirementsRequirements:
Proven experience conducting lifecycle or condition surveys, preferably within PFI healthcare environments
Strong technical knowledge of building pathology and asset lifecycle planning
Excellent report writing and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage workload to tight deadlines
Relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., RICS, CIOB, or equivalent)Additional Information:
The role is Outside IR35
Site-based in Southeast London
£300–£350/day depending on experience
