About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Building Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this key role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our building. Ensuring a safe, functional, and well-presented environment for all users.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out general building maintenance and repairs (carpentry, plumbing, basic electrics, painting/decorating, etc.)
Respond to reactive maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner
Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify and address potential issues
Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
Liaise with external contractors and suppliers when needed
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety regulations
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a similar building maintenance or facilities role
Multi-trade skills (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, basic electrical)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Good communication and interpersonal skills
