Are you a service-focused leader with deep experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) and a passion for reducing carbon emissions through smart, data-led solutions?
We’re supporting a market-leading BMS specialist in their search for a Bureau Manager to head up their 24/7 BMS remote services and energy and carbon reporting operations. These services are a core part of how clients understand and control energy consumption, optimise building performance, and progress towards net zero.
In this key leadership role, you'll be responsible for shaping the commercial and operational strategy of the Bureau. From managing a team of BMS engineers and analysts to overseeing remote connectivity, client reporting, and SLA delivery, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping clients get the most out of their building systems.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the BMS-focused Bureau Team, promoting a culture of collaboration, ownership, and technical excellence.
* Oversee 24/7 remote monitoring and alarm response, ensuring clients’ BMS platforms (Trend, Tridium, IQvision) are optimised and fully operational.
* Drive the development and growth of new and existing BMS Bureau services, including chargeable support offerings and tailored energy reporting.
* Maintain strong oversight of BMS graphics, remote connectivity, system architecture, and ticketing systems in partnership with IT and third-party providers.
* Develop and execute a robust Business Plan focused on innovation, client retention, and revenue growth in the smart buildings space.
* Monitor and analyse BMS data and system performance to identify trends, provide actionable insight, and deliver continuous improvement.
* Ensure all SLAs and client contracts are met, while supporting compliance with internal standards and legislative requirements.
* Work cross-functionally with commercial, technical, and marketing teams to deliver engaging service collateral and proposals.
* Support financial performance targets through accurate billing, contract maintenance, and cost control.
* Build relationships with supply chain partners and clients, acting as a senior point of contact on BMS-related service delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience leading teams in a BMS, energy management, or building performance environment.
* Strong understanding of Building Management Systems – particularly Trend, Tridium, and IQvision.
* Solid grounding in remote BMS operations, smart building technologies, and connected building networks.
* Leadership capability with a track record of developing people, managing performance, and driving service excellence.
* High level of organisation and the ability to manage multiple service streams in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, both technical and non-technical.
