Bus Mechanic – Cumbernauld – £40,000 to £45,000
Holt Automotive is currently seeking an experienced Bus Mechanic to join a reputable and well-established transport company based in Cumbernauld.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Location: Cumbernauld
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Role:
As a Bus Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a fleet of buses to ensure they remain in top working condition and meet safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Routine maintenance and servicing of buses
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
MOT preparation and inspections
Working to strict health and safety guidelines
Keeping accurate records of work completedRequirements:
Proven experience as a bus mechanic, HGV mechanic or similar role
Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repair preferred)
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
