Job Description
Our client, a leader in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a skilled Bush Fit Honer for a permanent position. This role is essential in maintaining and ensuring the precision of aerospace components.
Key Responsibilities:
Install bushes and dimensionally check tolerances
Fit and swage bearings, hone bushes in accordance with OHM/CMM/SOPM
Ensure adherence to Customer Turn Around Times
Embrace and actively improve LEAN processes
Meet and adhere to all KPI targets for the department
Check components and bush logs for accuracy
Install bushes/bearings and check dimensionally using workshop manuals and drawings
Use imperial calibrated measuring equipment
Swage bushings with suitable methods
Job Requirements:
Engineering apprenticeship
Proficiency in machining and using imperial measuring equipment
Experience in an aerospace environment preferred
Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy
Well-organised, punctual, quality conscious and flexible
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Right to live and work in the UK unrestricted
