Business and Economics Teacher – Tower Hamlets
GSL Education London Branch is looking for a Business and Economics Teacher to work at a co-educational comprehensive secondary school located in Tower Hamlets. This is a long-term position starting in September 2025.
The school is looking for a reliable and qualified Business and Economics Teacher who can teach Key Stages 4 and 5. You will be part of a supportive department with good facilities and resources.
Business and Economics Teacher Responsibilities:
Teach Business and Economics at GCSE and A-Level
Plan and deliver lessons following the school’s curriculum
Assess and monitor student progress
Support students with their learning and provide feedback
Work closely with other staff and follow school policies
Keep clear records of lessons and student outcomes
Manage behaviour in the classroom
Business and Economics Teacher Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Business and/or Economics in UK secondary schools
Strong subject knowledge in Business and Economics
Good classroom management skills
Able to work well with staff and students
A clear and up-to-date Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
