Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be supporting a high-performing secondary school in Macclesfield in their search for a Business and Economics Teacher to join their team. The school is looking to appoint someone as soon as possible, with a long-term role in place for the 2025/26 academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking school with a thriving Sixth Form and a reputation for academic excellence. You will play a key role in delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons in Business Studies and Economics to students across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
About the Role:
Teaching Business Studies and Economics to GCSE and A-Level
Full-time position with planning, marking and departmental responsibilities
Working collaboratively with a well-established Business and Humanities faculty
Contributing to extracurricular activities and enterprise initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching qualification
Have experience teaching Business and/or Economics at KS4 and KS5
Be enthusiastic, innovative and committed to high standards of teaching and learning
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
Be passionate about preparing students for future success in business and finance
