Start ASAP- Following a security clearance, which can take 4-6 weeks, pay £18.40ph, duration- 6 months- temporary, hours Monday to Friday 36 hours per week, this role is required to work fully onsite. Location Charing Cross/Embankment area. What You'll Do: As a key member of the Commercial and Facilities Management Division, you will play an essential role in supporting the procurement of a diverse range of goods and services that align with departmental requirements and deliver exceptional value for money. Your responsibilities will include: Strategic Support: - Assist in driving strategic procurement activities to meet departmental objectives. - Provide support to case teams in preparing business cases, specifications, and tender documents. Governance: - Utilise procurement systems effectively, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. - Help develop and maintain the organisation's contracts database for accurate management information. Stakeholder Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, suppliers, and category experts. - Provide accurate data for formal reports and briefings to senior stakeholders. Delivery: - Drive procurement activities while identifying and mitigating legal and commercial risks. - Assist in the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring compliance with public procurement law. To thrive in this role, you should possess: Essential Experience: - Proven ability to manage competing priorities and assess information swiftly. - Strong communication skills, enabling you to articulate needs clearly to stakeholders.
