Business Development Executive | Cyber & Intelligence Are you a driven Business Development professional with a passion for secure data, digital, and cloud systems within the government defence and security markets? This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading global defence technology provider, where your mission will be to identify, develop, and secure new market opportunities within our Cyber & Intelligence Operating Unit. You'll make a significant impact on shaping the technology and solutions that define tomorrow’s security landscape. As a pivotal Business Development Executive, reporting directly to the Head of Business Development (Cyber & Intelligence), you'll be instrumental in supporting the growth of new business across the entire UK enterprise. You'll work within a business that combines modern software development approaches with a rich heritage in defence and security, tackling complex and sensitive data requirements. Your Responsibilities Support the Head of Business Development (Cyber & Intelligence) in planning and implementing strategies to target new customer growth across the Government defence and security stakeholder community. Create a robust network of influencers and key decision-makers to position for future growth. Build and maintain excellent working relationships focused on long-term partnerships with customers. Develop a deep understanding of customer use cases, internal decision-making nuances, budget cycles, and other key information necessary to win business. Effectively and efficiently establish complementary customer relationships with the Corporate Account/Client manager(s). Manage pipeline growth and appropriate pursuit prioritisation within assigned accounts, ensuring a well-balanced portfolio and accurate Salesforce entries. Provide clear, concise, and value-added reports to support executive meeting planning, briefing, MARCOMMS, training, and other requirements, working closely with the wider Business Development & Capture team. Deliver regular and effective New Business and Pipeline Reviews.What We're Looking For Demonstrable strong experience in secure data, digital, cloud systems, services, and solution selling within the government defence and security markets. Experience in supporting cross-functional teams to deliver winning bids. An understanding and application of relevant business development principles, concepts, practices, and standards. A strong, collaborative individual with the confidence and integrity to quickly earn client and internal stakeholder confidence. Highly organised, adept at workload management, and able to prioritise appropriately to meet deadlines.
