We’re working with a well-established and growing organisation based in Wetherby, and they’re looking to strengthen their UK sales team. This Business Development Executive role offers a great opportunity to make a measurable impact within a thriving company that operates in a specialist sector. You'll be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, developing long-term client relationships, and helping shape the commercial future of the business. Business Development Executive - What’s in it for you: * Salary of £35,000 plus £15,000 OTE and a profit share bonus scheme * Company car or car allowance * On-site role based in Wetherby - 3 days in the office, 2 days visiting clients * Join a supportive and ambitious sales team * Long-term career growth in a market-leading business Key Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive: * Identify and qualify new business opportunities via cold calling, LinkedIn, email outreach, and attending industry events * Deliver tailored client presentations and proposals that demonstrate commercial value * Build and manage lasting relationships with new and existing clients * Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activity, pipeline development, and forecasting * Attend industry trade shows and events to promote the brand and network with potential clients To be successful in this Business Development Executive role, you will need: * Proven experience in sales or business development * Experience selling into the construction sector would be a significant advantage * Strong communication and negotiation skills * Experience working towards targets and KPIs * Confidence using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) * A consultative and value-led sales approach * Self-motivation, with a natural drive to close deals and grow accounts This is a fantastic Business Development Executive opportunity for someone who thrives on results, wants to work for a fast-paced and growing organisation, and is looking to take their sales career to the next level.
