Business Development Manager – Doorsets Job Title: Business Development Manager – Doorsets & Ironmongery Industry Sector: Business Development Manager, Technical Sales, Sales Manager, Fire Doors, Acoustic Doors, Doorsets, Timber, Ironmongery, Joinery, Doors, Partitions, Insulated Glazing, Door Manufacturers, Joinery Contractors, Interior Fit-Out Contractors, Architects, Main Contractors, Developers, Tier 1 Contractors Area to be covered: Western England (Bristol to Glasgow) ideally based Manchester or Birmingham (Will only spent 1/2 days a month in Scotland or South West) Remuneration: £40,000 - £50,000 + 20% bonus Benefits: Audi A3 PHEV & full benefits package The role of the Business Development Manager – Doorsets & Ironmongery will involve: * Field sales position selling a range of doors, ironmongery and associated products such as: internal doors, fire doors, acoustic doors, ironmongery, door frames and screens * All of your time will be spent selling to a mixed route to market via tier 1 contractors, sub-contractors, architects, specifiers and installers * Taking over a territory turnover of circa £3m * Dealing with wide ranging order values of £10k - £250k * Good blend of account manager and new business The ideal applicant will be Business Development Manager – Doorsets & Ironmongery with * Must have a field sales experience with contractors * Understand project led sales and supply chains within the contractors ideally tier 1’s * Open in terms of what products you’ve sold however ideally sold a related product range such as: doorsets, joinery, fire rates systems, glass glazing, windows, doors, timber, ironmongery etc * Ideally have experience of generating specifications managing projects from conception through to completion via specifiers to contractors (not essential) * Team player yet able to work autonomously * Customer service orientated, technical, sociable personality Mitchell Maguire is a specialist Construction Field Sales Recruitment Consultancy, dealing exclusively with Construction Field Sales Jobs, Construction field sales vacancies and Specification field sales positions within: Business Development Manager, Technical Sales, Sales Manager, Fire Doors, Acoustic Doors, Doorsets, Timber, Ironmongery, Joinery, Doors, Partitions, Insulated Glazing, Door Manufacturers, Joinery Contractors, Interior Fit-Out Contractors, Architects, Main Contractors, Developers, Tier 1 Contractors
