Job Description
Sales Business development manager required in Manchester, this is for a Air and Ocean freight forwarder. This role is Hybrid based, with some days being home based, some is in the office and some days is meeting clients, a nice mixture of days with Hybrid days as well. Salary will depend on the background, Business development manager salary around the £45k-65k bracket.
The role
You will open build strong relationships across the North West of England with clients, some will be repeat business and others are new business, you will also convert tentative bookings to repeat business. The clients are using this freight forwarder for Air and Ocean freight, for a range of countries. This role is a full BDM role, you will be responsible for your area of clients and for driving up the bookings for air and ocean freight. This role will include all the standard Business Development Manager duties.
Experience
We are looking for a business development manager with a background in sales within the Air and Ocean freight market. You will have great communication skills, able to open doors and close deals. The knowledge of Air and Ocean freight is very important.
