Business Development Manager International Freight Forwarding
Based in Portsmouth | Full-Time | Monday to Friday
Are you a driven and experienced Business Development Manager within the International Freight Forwarding sector?
Do you thrive on building strong client relationships and identifying new business opportunities across Air, Sea, and Road freight services?
V3 are working with our client , a well-established Freight Forwarding and Distribution company. They are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to support their ambitious growth plans.
About the company
they're based in Portsmouth with modern storage facilities, their our own HGV fleet, and are proud members of two leading pallet networks. their international team provides full-service logistics, including customs entries and documentation, all handled in-house.
Your Role
As the Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in expanding the client base and revenue by:
Generating and developing new business opportunities across the South of the UK and beyond.
Promoting the multi-model freight forwarding services (Air, Sea, and European Road).
Managing your own pipeline, diary, and appointments to build strong relationships with clients.
Collaborating closely with the operations team to create tailored solutions for customers.
Identifying further growth opportunities within existing key accounts.
What We're Looking For
✅ Proven experience in B2B sales within international freight forwarding and logistics.
✅ A well-connected, confident self-starter with a strong commercial mindset.
✅ Skilled in the full sales cycle from lead generation to close.
✅ A motivated, customer-focused professional with excellent communication and presentation skills.
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
✅ Full UK driving licence is essential.
