💡 About the Role:
An established infrastructure contractor with a strong pipeline of work across the UK is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead national growth across the Industrial & Commercial (I&C) sector.
This is a strategic, client-facing role where you'll drive new business, build long-term partnerships, and help shape the future of multi-utility delivery on major industrial, energy and commercial projects.
⚙️ Key Responsibilities:
Identify and win new business opportunities across I&C markets nationally
Develop relationships with industrial developers, commercial consultants, contractors & framework partners
Collaborate with internal teams on bid strategies and technical proposals
Lead client engagement from early-stage feasibility through to post-contract
Drive strategic partnerships across sectors including:
EV charging infrastructure
Logistics and distribution hubs
Data centres and business parks
Renewable energy and energy-from-waste facilities
✅ What You'll Bring:
Proven experience in business development within utilities, infrastructure or power sectors
Strong understanding of the I&C landscape and multi-utility connections
Excellent stakeholder management and commercial negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and travel across the UK as required
