Leeds (Hybrid / Remote)
£30,000 – £40,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission + Career Progression

About the Opportunity

Are you a driven Business Development Manager with experience selling IT solutions, managed services or technology into UK businesses?

We’re working with an established and growing IT solutions and managed services provider that is looking to strengthen its sales team with an ambitious BDM.

The business delivers a broad portfolio of technology solutions, including managed IT services, cybersecurity, IT products and licensing, consultancy, networking, connectivity and VoIP.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded salesperson who wants to join a customer-focused business where there is genuine opportunity to build a strong pipeline, win new business and progress their career.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

Identifying and developing new business opportunities across the UK
Prospecting into new accounts and building relationships with key decision-makers
Generating your own pipeline through outbound activity, networking and referrals
Understanding customer requirements and identifying suitable IT solutions
Selling a combination of managed services, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, licensing, connectivity and VoIP solutions
Managing the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to close
Working closely with technical and delivery teams to develop tailored solutions
Building long-term relationships with customers and maximising account potential
Consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
Maintaining accurate pipeline and forecasting informationAbout You

We’re looking for someone who has:

Previous experience in a Business Development / New Business sales role
Experience within IT, technology, MSP, VAR or a related B2B environment
A proven track record of generating new business
Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills
Experience managing the full sales cycle
A commercially driven and target-focused approach
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
The confidence to engage with decision-makers at all levels
A genuine interest in technology and helping businesses solve IT challengesWhat’s On Offer?
